This wine is ruby red in colour with purple tinges. It has elegant hints of delicate red berries, raspberries, redcurrants and freshly picked violets. It is medium-bodied and well-balanced, with pleasant velvety tannins. It has a full-bodied, fruity flavour with a lovely freshness and smoothness. It is an excellent accompaniment to grilled meat, stewed vegetables, first courses with mushrooms and cheese, flavoursome fish dishes and Italian-style appetizers.

TRAINING SYSTEM

Guyot.

Selected hand-picked grapes.

Vinified by the red wine method with cold pre-fermentation maceration. Malolactic fermentation is completed.

5 months in steel tanks on the yeast lees, 2 months of aging in the bottle..

ALCOHOL CONTENT

12,5%

Deep ruby red with purple tinges.

Intense, delicately vinous with characteristic hints of red berries and sensations of fresh flowers.

Dry, robust, very smooth and persistent.

It is an ideal accompaniment to roast white and red meat, grilled meat, risotto and pasta with mushrooms and cheeses.

Serve at a temperature of 14–16°C.

STORAGE/REFINING

The optimum period for refining in the bottle is about 1 year after harvesting. It maintains its quality for up to about 4 years.
