The vineyards
Mansuè is still in the Veneto region, but the Tomasella farm is extended on 150 hectares, from which 30 hectares are vineyards, overlapping right into the heart of the friuli DOC region “Friuli Grave”. 23 hectares of vines are part of Veneto and 7 hectares part of the Friuli region. The change of pace more recently in Mansuè can be contradistinguished first of all by the start-up of the production of sparkling wines; of which we produce 4 different products, obtained with the Charmat method, but what was even more evident of a change was the further development of the stillwine production from our Friuli vineyards and the working procedures there. However, the main principles of the company have remained unchanged since ever; no matter which was the geographical positition of the vineyards, to seize best the characteristics of both “terroirs”.
